Beside a campfire in the wilderness, Kareisha studies Nado modification, trying to figure out how to counter Hermina’s “Resonance Modification” technique. His concentration is interrupted when Sergio, hungry and impatient, calls him to eat. While looking through an old photo album, the trio recalls Kareisha’s childhood, remembering how Yale once protected him when he was young. Soon after, Serlo suddenly appears with his followers. In the middle of the confrontation, Kareisha realizes the principle of balance modification while preparing roasted meat over the fire. Applying this insight during the battle, he swaps Nado parts mid-fight and successfully activates his own Resonance Modification technique. Working together with his two companions, they manage to defeat Serlo. Seeing an opportunity, Sergio tries to rescue his brother from the dark energy that has corrupted him. However, the dark power blocks his attempt, leaving Sergio helpless as he watches Serlo remain under its control.
